The band's first set runs forty-five to sixty minutes of jazz standards, soul ballads, and soft funk, calibrated to sit comfortably under conversation without competing with it. Six musicians means genuine harmonic depth even at lower volumes: keys and upright-bass lines that fill a room without crowding it. By the time plates clear and the floor opens, guests have already been warmed by two hours of live music — which is exactly why the second set lands the way it does.

06How long does After 5 setup take?
We need roughly 60–90 minutes for setup, depending on the venue size. Our sound engineer ensures the audio balance is perfect — you and your guests won't need to worry about a thing.

We're very flexible! Events don't always go according to plan and our band adapts to changes smoothly. We can extend sets, take earlier breaks, or adjust the program on the fly based on your needs.
